LISBURN CITY COUNCIL
Lisburn City Council is Northern Ireland's newest City Council, representing the second largest Council area in Northern Ireland.
Servicing over 108,000 residents, the city of Lisburn spans 174 square miles of southwest Antrim and northwest Down and stretches from Glenavy and Dundrod in the north to Dromara and Hillsborough in the south and from Drumbo in the east to Moira and Aghalee in the west.

The award of City Status to the Council, in May 2002, was as a result of the Council's success in The Queen's Golden Jubilee competition.
Lisburn City Council's aspiration is to be a first class public service organisation in a City that is recognised as the premier place in Northern Ireland to live, work, visit and play.
Lisburn City Council will represent the interests of all the people of the City. It will strive to achieve continued improvements in quality of life and social harmony. The Council will ensure that services are provided to a level of quality and at a cost that meets the evolving expectations of its customers.
With thirty Councillors representing the City operations of the Council are co-ordinated through four departments: Chief Executive's Office; Corporate Services; Environmental Services and Leisure Services.
