ISLAND ARTS CENTRE'S NEW VOLUNTEER SCHEME

BECOME AN ISLAND ARTS CENTRE VOLUNTEER - It's not a job it's a lifestyle!

Want to give your CV the cutting edge?  Improve your social life?  Retired from the workplace but not from life? Come and join the fun!

Volunteers aged 16+ from all cultural backgrounds and abilities are welcome.

Volunteers are highly valued at IAC and we make every attempt to make it as rewarding an experience as possible.

Island Arts Centre's Volunteer Programme provides opportunities for members of the community to donate their time and skills in support of Island Arts Centre's extensive cultural and arts programming for Lisburn City. Volunteers work with arts centre staff to create a friendly environment in which audiences and artists may experience the arts. They are vital part of Island Arts Centre's human resources and increase its ability to provide outstanding prgrammes to the public.

Choose from either or both of IAC's Front of House or Creative Crews and get a backstage view of the Arts in your community!

What's in it for you!

Note: A screening policy is in place for all potential volunteers, which will include screening for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Checks 1 & 2 (POCVA), which must take place and be verified before an offer of becoming an IAC Volunteer can be made.

The Agreement between Lisburn City Council and the Volunteer does NOT constitute an intention to create a legal relationship between them nor is it intended to be a contract of employment or contract for the Volunteer to personally provide services to the City Council.
