Collections & Research --» Publications & Research --»Ulster Folklife has been published since 1955. It covers the whole gamut of human life in Ulster, from agriculture to ethno-zoology. Here are to be found articles on such topics as crafts, cures, farming, folk customs, music, spades, storytelling, railways, popular religion, ships, sedan chairs, vernacular building and countless others.
Many of these articles have been written by members of museum staff; others by academic scholars; yet others by knowledgeable amateurs. Its editor is Dr Jonathan Bell. Ulster Folklife is a scholarly publication, but it is of interest to all that want to find out more about the popular culture of Northern Ireland past and present.
