Description
This irreplaceable library and archive reflects D. B. McNeills life long interest in transport. The collection covers transport by rail, bus, tram and water and enhances what is probably the most important Transport Library in Ireland.
Location
The collection is held within the Library and Document Archive of the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and is available to the public by appointment.
Contents
The collection comprises of over three hundred and fifty books and pamphlets, periodicals including The Railway Magazine from 1926-1988 and the Railway Record Society from 1947-1988: one hundred and fifty local, and international.
bus and rail timetables: An extensive document archive consisting of travel brochures, railway plans gradients and illustrative material including photographs and post cards.
