The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum holds material of national and international importance, cared for and managed by specialist curatorial and conservation staff. These collections provide a representative and balanced resource relating to the way of life and traditions of the people of Northern Ireland, past and present, in a European and world-wide context.
The buildings, artefacts, recordings, photographs, films, books and documents are important not only for their intrinsic value, but also for the information that may be derived from them. Some of these collections are on open display in the Museum. Others are available in the Museum library, or by contacting members of staff.
