Youth Groups

Youth groups and summer schemes will find much to interest them at the Folk Park in July and August and on other weekends throughout the summer season. Costumed staff discuss aspects of emigration and demonstrate a variety of period crafts and daily activities. In addition a series of special events take place throughout the year.

A number of trails are available including:

• A self-guided Maths trail which uses all areas of the park. Photocopiable masters are provided in advance to group leaders. Allow at least two hours to complete the trail.
  
  
• Also available to photocopy are simple, general, self-guided trails for age 8-12 and for 13-14.

Overnight accommodation for groups is available in the Residential Centre .
