A limited number of work experience placements are available each year to students with an interest in
All work experience will normally be unpaid and students will be expected to work responsibly with a minimum of supervision. Students up to 17 years of age may request a work experience placement of up to 2 weeks maximum. Students over 17 years of age may apply for longer placements provided that the museum has a suitable extended project for the student to undertake. In all cases acceptance is at the discretion of the museum.
Initial contact with the museum should be made as early as possible, and preferably no later than one month before. Indemnity forms from the students educational institution should be forwarded at least 2 weeks in advance to the museum.
